HIGH SCHOOL: Nelson, who prepped at Prosper High School in Prosper, Texas, was a four-time Texas state champion (twice in the 100y back, once in the 200y IM and 100y breast). Her 54.93 in the 100y back was a Texas 4A record ... The 2016 Olympic Trials qualifier and prep All-American competed in six events at the 2015 U.S. Summer Nationals, topped by finishing 52nd in the 200m breast.
