THIS SEASON: Maddie Witt, a 2017 sophomore, is one of the Pac-12's top all-around divers and looks to build on a freshman season that saw her compete at the NCAAs and reach a pair of Pac-12 finals ... She competed in two events at the 2016 U.S. Winter Nationals, including a seventh-place finish in the platform final with 695.80 points. She was also a semifinalist on 3-meter with 440.60.

2016: Witt competed on two boards at the NCAA Championships as a 2016 freshman, taking 19th on 3-meter (300.90) and 28th on platform (217.85) ... Witt qualified for her first NCAA Championships after a fifth on platform (533.65) and an eighth on 3-meter (600.90) at the 2016 Zone E Championships ... She was also a two-time finalist at the 2016 Pac-12 Championships, finishing third on 3-meter (344.35) and fifth on platform (276.70) ... Witt had three dual-meet wins as a freshman and won the platform at the Trojan Diving Invitational ... She was a semifinalist at the 2015 U.S. Winter Nationals, finishing 17th (434.40).

HIGH SCHOOL: Witt, who prepped at Flintridge Prep in Glendale, Calif., was a prep All-American who won the 2013 CIF Southern Section Division III title ... She was a 2014 U.S. Nationals finalist on platform, taking fifth (291.95) and also competed on 3-meter. At the 2013 U.S. Junior Nationals, she was fifth on 3-meter (458.40) and ninth on platform (396.80). At the 2012 U.S. Juniors, she was sixth on 1-meter (310.15), 3-meter (354.40) and platform (315.55) ... Witt competed at the 2013 FINA Grad Prix in Puerto Rico, finishing fourth on 3-meter (292.55) and third on synchro 3-meter. She was also second on platform synchro at the 2014 U.S. Junior Nationals.

PERSONAL: Witt began diving at 9 and competed at her first Junior Nationals in 2007 and her first Senior Nationals in 2011 ... She plans to major in business administration at USC.
