2020: Sanchez’s 2020 senior season was highlighted by a fourth consecutive NCAA bid and her first CSCAA All-American honor in the 200y fly … at the 2020 Pac-12 Championships, Sanchez finished eighth in the A final of the 100y fly with a 53.09 and, after a prelims swim-off, returned to post a 1:57.26 and win the consolation final of the 200y fly …Sanchez out-touched teammate Louise Hansson by less than a second in the 200y fly against Minnesota … At UCLA, Sanchez posted a 1:57.50 to finish second in the 200y fly and fifth in the 100y fly (53.72) … Against Stanford, Sanchez finished third in the 200y fly (2:00.45) and fourth in the 100y fly (55.61) … Sanchez opened the season with a win in the 200y fly at the Trojan Swim Invite … Repeated as a 2020 Pac-12 Winter Academic Honor Roll recipient for the third consecutive year
2019: Sanchez, as a 2019 junior, competed at her third consecutive NCAA Championships while reaching her third career Pac-12 final. At the NCAAs, Sanchez raced in both fly events, taking a career-best 18
th in the 200y fly (1:55.87) and finishing 34
th in the 100y fly (52.57) … At the Pac-12 Championships, Sanchez reached her second career 200y fly final (and third conference final overall), finishing eighth in the race (1:56.53). She was also 10
th in the 100y fly (52.62) and 33
rd in the 50y free (23.37) … She was a two-time finalist at the Texas Hall of Fame Invitational, finishing fifth in both the 100y (52.49) and 200y fly (1:56.07). She also posted a career-best 22.89 in the 50y free … Sanchez earned CSCAA Scholar-All-America first team honors and Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention notice for the second year in a row.
2018: As a 2018 sophomore, Sanchez raced individually in two events at the NCAA Championships, finishing 37
th in the 100y fly (53.13) and 53
rd in the 50y free (PR 22.90). She also anchored USC’s 11
th-place 200y free relay and 14
th-place 400y free relay … At the 2018 Pac-12 Championships, Sanchez reached her second career conference final with a tie for sixth in the 100y fly with a PR 52.24. She posted another PR in the 200y fly en route to 10
th in 1:55.33, finished 26
th in the 50y free (23.01) and anchored USC’s third-place 200y free relay … Sanchez was a two-time finalist at the Texas Invitational, finishing sixth in the 200y fly (1:57.11) and eighth in the 100y fly (52.88) … At the 2018 U.S. Summer Nationals, she was 30

2017: Sanchez was a 2017 NCAA Championships participant as a freshman, finishing 40
th 200y fly (1:58.57) and 43
rd in the 100y fly (53.41) … At the 2017 Pac-12 Championships, Sanchez reached the A final of the 200y fly and finished seventh in 1:57.97 after a PR 1:56.60 in prelims. She was also 11th in the 100y fly in 53.03 after a PR 52.54 in prelims and was 26th in the 50y free (23.02) ... She twice won the 200y fly in dual meet action on the season and was a two-time finalist in the 100y and 200y fly at the Texas Invitational … She raced at the 2017 U.S. Summer Nationals, highlighted by a 20
th in the 200m fly (2:13.34). She was also 45
th in the 50m fly (27.91) and 49
th in the 100m fly (1:01.09) ... She earned CSCAA Scholar-All-American first team honors.
HIGH SCHOOL: Sanchez, who prepped at Glendora (Calif.) High, was a two-time 2016 CIF Southern Section Div. 2 Championships, taking third in the 200y free (1:48.23) and 100y fly (53.84) and fourth in the 100y free (50.80) ... At the 2015 Speedo Winter Junior Time Trials, she was third in the 100m fly (1:01.25) ... She was a two-time finalist at the 2015 CIFs, second in the 100y fly and third in the 200y free ... She raced at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials, finishing 59th in the 200m fly and 76th in the 100m fly.

PERSONAL: She is majoring in business administration ... She comes from a long line of Trojans, including two uncles, one aunt and four cousins who are all alumni as well as a cousin who is an undergrad and another at USC's Keck Medical School.
